Use our interactive skeleton on the right to learn more about the physicians at Vanderbilt Bone & Joint and the disorders they treat, or click one of the physicians names below:

The physicians at The Bone & Joint Clinic are all medical doctors, or doctors of osteopathy that have been certified by specialty boards to care for orthopaedic problems.
There are two types of physicians at the clinic: the orthopaedic surgeon and the family practitioner. Orthopaedic surgeons are physicians who have additional training in orthopaedic surgery. Some of the physicians have further training (called a fellowship) in specific areas of orthopaedic surgery. Each of the clinic's orthopaedic surgeons has been certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery, or is board eligible, as being fully trained and competent in this field.
The family practice physician at the clinic treats only orthopaedic conditions (musculoskeletal problems). He is certified by the Board of Family Practice in both family practice and sports medicine. This physician treats all types of orthopaedic problems, but does not perform surgery. His practice focuses on chronic (ongoing) problems.
