MRI
MRI stands for Magnetic Resonance Imaging. It is a diagnostic tool that uses a strong magnetic field and radio waves to allow doctors to look at certain parts of the body more clearly than with other imaging equipment.

Our office features an open MRI unit that is designed without sides so you can undergo these advanced studies with less apprehension than what is typically experienced in closed MRI machines.

We've also designed our room with several windows, a warm decor, and your selection of music. If your physician orders an MRI study for you, we hope you will request our open MRI that we designed with your comfort in mind. We are an accredited facility; click here to learn what this means or click here to learn what an MRI is.

Digital Radiology
Digital radiography is a form of x-ray imaging where digital x-ray sensors are used instead of traditional photographic film. Advantages include time efficiency and the ability to digitally transfer and enhance images. Digital radiography provides image processing tools for contrast enhancement to assist in image analysis and diagnoses. Also, digital radiography provides better images while significantly reducing patient exposure to radiation. Our digital radiography equipment delivers high quality radiographic images in just 5 seconds after the x-ray exposure is taken. Most all of our x-ray procedures can be done upright which is more comfortable for the patient than lying on the x-ray table. We use a picture-archiving and communications system that allows digital storage and display of x-rays which can be digitally enhanced- magnified, brightened or contrast added or manipulated to improve the x-rays usefulness.
